Apple Seeds is more than early childhood education and a lot more than just a daycare. We partner with families to create an experience where children are preparing for life, not just kindergarten. We believe that children need the chance to get messy and to figure out that they can handle things.  We climb trees, balance on logs, and climb on and over whatever we can when appropriate. We wobble and topple and giggle tons. It's a LOT of fun! We are firm believers in the concept that practice makes progress not perfection. 

You won't find stock photos, fluff, smoke and mirrors, or fillers here. You will find real people who love what they do and want to make a difference.  Here's the kicker, we don't want to do what everyone else is doing. We know children learn through play and play is often messy. 

Projects can and often need to be big and broad. They need time to be expanded upon. If we stop and put everything away all of the time, we are missing out on opportunities for growth, creativity, discussion, and more.

Apple Seeds wants to create leaders, thinkers, problem solvers, and caring people. You can't gauge these skills on worksheets, coloring pages, or in standardized testing. We want children to know how to speak up for others, to practice being peacemakers, to ask for what they need, and how to function together as a group/family.
